Barton Community College has named 294 students to the President’s List for the spring 2025 semester. To qualify for this honor students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.
Barton Community College has named 293 students to the Dean’s List for the spring 2025 semester. To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.99 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.
Barton Community College’s Center for Adult Education is holding orientation days July 21-24 with multiple times available in preparation for its next nine-week session of high school diploma classes, which will start July 28 or 29, depending on which class sessions are signed up for.
Barton Community College invites early childhood educators, afterschool providers, community volunteers, and families to participate in Science Activities for the Young Child, a special hybrid class designed to bring the wonders of science into the lives of young learners.
The Shafer Gallery will host an opening reception for its “Collector’s Edition” exhibit from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 13 in the Gallery and will feature light refreshments and a gallery talk.
With multiple people in her family being teachers, including her parents, Barton Alum Courtney Cook of Ellinwood always knew she wanted to be a teacher, and getting to do that in her hometown has made accomplishing her goal even sweeter.
