Couples looking for a unique way to celebrate Valentine’s Day or anyone who wants to learn about ceramics can participate in the Date Night Ceramics Workshop, a hands-on pottery experience open to all ages from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 13 and 3-5 p.m. Feb. 15 in the Technical Building, room T-151.
The workshop will include a pottery wheel lesson, allowing participants to create their own ceramic pieces. Each finished piece will be professionally fired and can be picked up by the participants after that process is completed. The event is designed to provide a fun and interactive experience in a relaxed, creative setting. No prior experience is necessary.
Cost is $40 per person. Spaces are limited, and early registration is encouraged. For more details or to sign up, email Barton Ceramics Instructor Mark Freeman at freemanm@bartonccc.edu or call (620) 792-9387.
